If you are looking for a fantastic Treadmill in the lower price ranges, then you certainly should consider the Fuel F63 Treadmill, which has been reviewed as “best in class” by numerous consumers and magazines.

The F63 has become the fastest selling treadmill in the Fuel range, and there is good reason for that.

It has the presence that comes consistently with Fuel branded equipment, and is highly equipped to deal with a demanding workout. It is the ‘little brother’ of the F85 unit, which in itself in a real gym class product, albeit at a much higher price point.

It has a 4.0HP peak motor, 20kmh speed range and a 15% auto incline, with nice ‘easy’ speed and incline buttons on the handrails, as you would expect. The console is bright, clear and has easy to read functionality which includes a very professional quarter mile track visualisation. This really adds to the competitive edge during a workout.

Of course, you also get the Fuel obligatory lifetime motor and frame warranty, 5 years parts cover and a full 3 year home call out warranty. As you may already know, the Fuel warranty package is one of the best on the market and comes inclusive with all of their range.

The Orbus Pro X9000 is a sub £600 treadmill designed to rival more premium, commercial products sold at a much higher price. The specification on the Pro X9000 is certainly impressive and the first point to note is the 4.5HP of peak power it able to deliver – very few treadmills in this price bracket can offer this sort of output.

This high level of power means the treadmill can deliver a quality range of workouts in terms of both incline and speed. The max incline is 20% and the max speed is 20km/hr – great for any serious athlete. Of course, those new to running will need to work up to such inclines and speed and this is very easy to do thanks to the onboard computer which controls the workout.

When choosing a treadmill you should also consider the shock absorption properties of the machine. With no shock absorption through the belt a treadmill can do serious damage to your joints and shin bones so it is pleasing to see that the Orbus Pro X9000 offers an 8 point shock absorption system.

This is a quiet treadmill and to help keep your workout varied and interesting there are 25 built in programmes ready for you to try out. You can keep a check on your progression via the heart rate monitors and the results are displayed on the 7” LCD backlit screen. For those who like to run to music there is built in MP3 input and two on board speakers.

We like the features on this machine, and for less than £600 it certainly offers great value for money, rivalling some machines with a price tag much higher. We also like that there is very minimal self-assembly required. Within around 5-10 minutes your machine is ready for use!
